Team Vitality has triumphed at the Blast Open Spring 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Lisbon, securing the championship with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Mouz in the Grand Final.

Guided by the exceptional performance of MVP Mathieu "zywOo" Herbaut, the French powerhouse delivered a stellar performance throughout the competition, capping off their run with a hard-fought win against Mouz. The victory marks a remarkable beginning to 2025 for Team Vitality, having already claimed titles at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 in February and the ESL Pro League Season 21 earlier this month, extending their winning streak to 16 matches.

ZywOo, who earned his 23rd MVP award in Lisbon, further cemented his legacy, surpassing Ukrainian legend s1mple, who previously held the record with 22 MVP titles.

Team Vitality's triumph at the Blast Open Spring 2025 adds another major achievement to their impressive 2025 run. With their 16th consecutive victory, they join an exclusive group of teams with lengthy win streaks, including Astralis' 17 wins in 2018-2019, FaZe's 18 wins to start CS2, and Team Liquid's 23-win streak en route to winning the Intel Grand Slam in 2019.
