According to a report from renowned tipster Dealabs, Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10, 2025, across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, and PC.

While the October release date for Battlefield 6 had already been speculated, this latest leak aligns with previous rumors, making it seem all but confirmed. If accurate, the October release window will place Battlefield 6 just a month ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is expected to hit shelves on November 14. The proximity of these two major shooters in the same calendar year will certainly heat up competition in the gaming market.

What We Know So Far

It’s been four years since both Call of Duty and Battlefield launched new entries in the same year, with Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 releasing in 2021. The gap between those releases was notable, but it appears EA and Activision are now prepared to face off again in the fall of 2025.

While EA has remained tight-lipped on an exact launch window, only confirming that Battlefield 6 will be out by March 2026, this leak suggests that the highly anticipated shooter will be available earlier than many expected.

Editions, Pricing, and Pre-Orders

The Dealabs report also provided insight into the game’s pricing and editions. Battlefield 6 will reportedly be offered in two primary versions: the Standard and Phantom editions. The Phantom edition will be a digital-only release and will include additional in-game content.

As for pricing, the Standard edition is said to be priced at €80 ($94 USD) for PS5 and Xbox Series XS players, while the PC version will cost €70 ($82 USD). Meanwhile, the Phantom edition will set players back €110 ($130 USD) for consoles and €100 ($117 USD) for PC users. While these figures come from a European source, it's likely that the pricing will align closely with USD equivalents once officially confirmed.

Pre-orders for Battlefield 6 are rumored to open on July 31, giving fans just days after the official trailer release to secure their copies.
