9z has announced the addition of Gustavo "yel" Knittel as their new head coach, completing their roster ahead of the 2025 season.
The organization made changes in December, benching Nicolás "buda" Kramer and coach Gustavo "tge" Motta after failing to secure a spot at the Shanghai Major. They have now replaced them with Luca "Luken" Nadotti and yel.

Yel joins 9z following his successful stint with KRÜ, where he guided the team to a Shanghai Major RMRs appearance in his coaching debut, which earned him the opportunity with 9z.
Currently ranked No. 65 in the Valve rankings, 9z has no confirmed events on their calendar. With their low ranking, they face a challenging road ahead as they aim to break into the ranks that would earn them LAN invitations.
