Team Vitality continued their dominant run in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) by winning the BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 tournament, edging out Team Falcons in a thrilling 3-2 grand final on Monday. With the victory, Vitality claimed the tournament’s $125,000 grand prize from a $300,000 prize pool and further solidified their position as the team to beat in 2025.

The win marks Vitality's fifth straight tournament title this year, following a streak that includes their recent Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Melbourne 2025 triumph and their crowning achievement of winning ESL Pro Tour’s Grand Slam Season 5. They have now amassed 25 consecutive match victories, the second-longest winning streak in CS history, trailing only Ninjas in Pyjamas' legendary 60-0 run.

Vitality’s unstoppable form has been largely credited to their January signing of Robin “ropz” Kool, who has formed a formidable duo with team star Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut. The move has paid immediate dividends, with the team displaying consistency and resilience across every event they’ve entered.

Monday’s grand final also marked the second straight finals showdown between Vitality and Team Falcons, continuing a fast-growing rivalry. Just a week earlier, Vitality had bested Falcons in the IEM Melbourne grand final. Once again, Falcons fell just short, taking home $75,000 as runners-up in their third consecutive grand finals appearance.

Leading into the match, all eyes were on Vitality’s winning streak and their bid to capture a fifth consecutive title—narratives they lived up to in spectacular fashion. Under the leadership of Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, the French squad has become a dominant force in the CS2 era, with no signs of slowing down.
