Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against the developers of Yuzu, an open-source emulator designed for the Nintendo Switch console. The lawsuit was filed in a Rhode Island court according to reports. The target of the lawsuit is Tropic Haze, the company responsible for creating Yuzu. Additionally, Nintendo specifically mentions an individual known as Bunnei, who leads the development of Yuzu.

Yuzu, was released in 2018, is a free emulator developed by the same team behind Citra.
