XDefiant was set to release at the end of August, but PlayStation and Xbox gave it a thumbs-down during certification and rejected the game.

Now, Ubisoft's on a quest to hunt down all those pesky compliance issues and functionality bugs lurking in the game. They're planning to make another submission for certification in two weeks. If the bugs are fixed, we might get our hands on XDefiant somewhere between the middle of September and the middle of October.
