The day following Twitch CEO Dan Clancy's announcement of significant layoffs at the Amazon-owned platform, he engaged with the community in a live session to address questions. During this session, Clancy disclosed that Twitch is not currently profitable, leading to concerns about the future of the Prime subscription feature that allows Amazon Prime subscribers to support a chosen creator for free each month. The company also left South Korea recently due to expenses.
